Argos Announces Excel / VB Programming Services

In order to meet the growing needs of it's clients, Argos I/T Security Servcies. Inc. has announced the addition of Excel / VBA programming and audit services. The requirements grew out of Argos' existing consulting business.

According to Argos CEO Roger Smith, "In almost 100% of the companies we audit we have found many situations where accountants and bookkeepers were performing something repetitive on a daily basis. Many times these procedures consumed hours of the contributors time. That's why, in 2007, we established our Excel Programming and Audit services practice, to help companies create effective and safe Excel applications to automate these procedures and to produce professional reports that will withstand full audit scrutiny. One of the principals, Roger Smith, has an extensive background in teaching programming classes in Excel, Pearl, CGI, HTML, and JavaScript. His instructor level skill sets in Virtual Basic application programming for Microsoft Office Automation are well suited to this task and have resulted in happy clients. We have also applied these skills to produce robust and auditable End User Computing policies and procedures for Excel spread sheets as well as reports produced by other reporting engines like Crystal Reports and Hyperion; to name but a few."
